John Moore updated us on his installation of computer equipment at the office and our access to Wi-Fi and the internet. We now have a scanner that scans in high detail which will enhance our website postings.
The King's Cookbook is now completed, and we have sold seven to date. They are listed on our web store. John is now ready to start on the one for South Lebanon. He suggested that we add our local history and also pictures to the cookbook as well as Duff's recipes. All agreed this would boost its sale. Angie volunteered her help.
We discussed the upcoming field trip to Ginger's restaurant on April 11. Since the cost of renting a van for the trip is over $600, we may just carpool unless we can borrow a van/bus from one of the local churches. It was suggested that we need to take a field trip to the Warren County Historical Society Museum to see their display of the King's Powder Company.
We discussed historical markers. Maryan is in the process of applying for a marker for her house. She was contacted by a man who makes videos of historical homes/buildings in Ohio. He is sending her a packet with the information, but after discussing his proposal, we decided this is something we could do ourselves.
We now have two scout troops coming to our office on April 13th to earn their Inside Government badges.
